Nursery Primary 1 & 2 Primary 3/4 & 5

From Nursery age we start teaching gross motor skills through play. We work on things like catching, kicking, stopping, rolling, balance, timing and many more including movement which becomes so important in learning sports. We start with the basics and then the activities get progressively harder but all through fun play.

At primary school age we start to introduce the basic skills and rules of the sports we teach while still progressing our gross motor skills. As the children learn to play each of the sports as well as the specific sports skills this also helps them to develop their spacial perception, teamwork, movement and many more motor skills again in a fun creative way.

By primary 3 we start to use sports, specific games and video analysis to help the children have a better understanding of sport. We look at increasing their knowledge of tactical thinking, movement, timing, awareness and teamwork. This will give them a better idea of positioning , when to defend and attack, also working out their main objectives within that specific sport.
